What should world leaders commit to at Copenhagen?
- 40% emission cuts for developed countries (below 1990 levels)
- 15-30% emission reductions from business as usual for developing countries
- Developed countries should transfer funds and technology to help developing countries tackle climate change
- Replace coal power expansion with renewable energy like wind and solar power.
Climate Change - Human Voices
Climate Change is happening now, much faster than we expected. And if we don’t take action now it could get much worse. An increasingly erratic climate will lead to rising sea levels, increased floods and droughts, and upheavel of climate patterns causing losses to agriculture and ecosystems, as you can see in the video below.
